Now in its 12th year, the Randstad Ride for Myriam is an event deeply rooted in the culture and values of the company that created it. Started in 2013 to honour Myriam Laaouan, a colleague and friend, who lost her battle with cancer right before the start of the first Ride.
Since then, the Ride has grown into an international event that has welcomed more participants and raised more than one million dollars for cancer research and care.
This year, we invite you to join us and honour the Myriam in your life, and help us raise funds to fight children's cancer.
Anyone can get involved and help us achieve our goal! Simply sign-up as an individual or team, choose an activity, and set a fundraising goal.
The National Children’s Cancer Society (NCCS) is dedicated to supporting children and their families as they navigate the daunting world of childhood cancer. In addition to emotional and educational support, the NCCS provides financial assistance and emergency financial support that allow families to worry less about bills and focus more on their child’s health. The NCCS has helped over 49,000 children and their families. They are proud to help families get where they need to be – physically, financially, and emotionally – giving them hope, and giving their children the best possible shot at survival.
The Canadian Cancer Society is committed to supporting research and providing care to children and their families that will change lives. They live this commitment by consistently searching for new ways to prevent cancer, catch it early and treat it more successfully. By taking a comprehensive approach against cancer, the Canadian Cancer Society sets itself apart from other cancer charities. CCS is also the only national charity that supports all Canadians living with all cancers across the country.
Our mission: the children.
Despite medical advances, cancer in children and adolescents cannot always be cured. Two out of ten patients die of cancer.
The German Children's Cancer Foundation is doing everything to ensure that all children are cured in the future. It supports affected families and young adults who had cancer as children with information, advice and help in financial emergencies.
The Foundation is successfully committed to constantly improving the chances of recovery, treatment methods, and the quality of life of children with cancer.
