In Loving Memory of My Father-in-Law: Why I’m Joining the Randstad Ride

Everyone has been touched by cancer at one point in their lives, and my family is no exception. In 2023, I lost my father-in-law to cancer. Having gone through that experience, I know firsthand the heartbreak and toll this terrible disease takes on patients and the people who love them.

That’s why I’m taking part in this year’s Randstad Ride and clocking in 100 kms over a period of 4 weeks.

I am deeply motivated to help bring an end to cancer by supporting vital research. Every kilometer I run or bike will be in honor of my father-in-law, as well as all the loved ones, friends, and colleagues who have fought or are currently fighting their own battles.
