When the going gets tough, the tough get going!

Every year I challenge myself to try something new.  Something that gets me out of my comfort zone, something hard and something to bring awareness to a good cause. This year, I'm excited to share that I am participating in the randstad ride. The ride takes place September 11-13 in Quebec Canada. Over the 3 days, riders cycle 240 miles and climb 13,000+ ft of elevation!

Why this event? Because sadly, everyone has been touched by cancer at one point in their lives. I have far too many loved ones, friends and colleagues that have fought or are fighting a battle with cancer. The randstad ride raises funds to support the National Children's Cancer Society (NCCS). The funds we raise goes toward funding scholarships for childhood cancer survivors.  47% of kids that battle cancer never go on to get a higher education. The Beyond the Cure Scholarship program gives kids the opportunity to change that!

My goal is to raise $3000 to contribute to support 50 kids that will be granted a scholarship. Please consider supporting me & this cause.  Any contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference!

Thank you!
