about

the randstad ride for myriam.

ready. set. pedal.

The Randstad Ride for Myriam is an international movement deeply rooted in the culture and values of the company that created it. Now in its 13th year, the event continues to honor Myriam Laaouan, a colleague and friend, who lost her battle with cancer right before the start of the first Ride.

Since its inception, the Ride has raised more than 2 million dollars for cancer research and care, and we're nowhere near finished.

This year, we invite you to join us and honour the Myriam in your life, and help us raise funds to fight children's cancer.

our impact.

We're honored to support the following charities with the funds raised by our participants.

The impact of cancer on young people is especially tough. In addition to milestone life events that are interrupted by cancer, they also have unique developmental and psychosocial needs.

The Canadian Cancer Society works tirelessly to save and improve the lives of all people affected by cancer, including youth and young adults. We raise funds to fuel the brightest minds in cancer research. We provide a compassionate support system across Canada and for all types of cancer.

Together with patients, supporters, donors and volunteers, we work to create a healthier future for everyone. Because to take on cancer, it takes all of us.
It takes a society.

NCCS
The National Children’s Cancer Society (NCCS) provides life-changing support to children with cancer, their families, and survivors through every stage of the cancer journey. From the moment of diagnosis through treatment, survivorship, and beyond, our comprehensive programs ease financial burdens, provide critical resources, and offer hope when families need it most.

Through the Beyond the Cure Ambassador Scholarship Program, the NCCS invests in survivors' futures by helping them pursue their educational goals. Since its launch in 2008, the program has awarded more than $2.7 million in scholarships to 257 childhood cancer survivors pursuing post-secondary education, empowering these individuals to embrace new opportunities and build bright, fulfilling futures.
