my second ride. my story. my why.

In 2008, my life changed twice: I was hired at Randstad, and I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. The support I received from this company during that journey is something I carry with me every day, and it’s why my commitment to the Randstad Ride is so deeply personal.

Last year was about starting. This year is about pushing further.

I’m taking on my second Randstad Ride, and it’s a massive: 384 kilometers over three grueling days, from September 11th to September 13th cycling from Laval to Mont-Tremblant.

As a survivor, a fighter, and the proud Chair of the Randstad Foundation, I know that every kilometer of that climb represents the uphill battle so many are fighting right now. I’m riding for myself, for my loved ones, and for the colleagues we’ve lost too soon. Every pedal stroke is fueled by the belief that, together, we can end this disease.

My goal this year is to raise $3,500 in support of life-changing cancer research. The training is tough, and the road to Tremblant will be tougher—but I know I’m not riding alone.
