When the going gets tough, the tough get going!

This year, I am stepping out of my comfort zone and clipping in as a first-time participant in The Randstad Ride.

Cancer is a disease that ripples through our communities, but its impact on young people and children is especially heartbreaking. I am taking on this challenge to stand in solidarity with the brave kids currently fighting, to celebrate the young survivors who inspire us, and to honor the memories of those we've lost too soon.

Taking on this ride as a beginner is daunting, but the temporary burn in my legs is nothing compared to the uphill battles these children and their families endure every day. Every kilometer I train and every pedal stroke on ride day will be fueled by their courage.

I cannot reach the finish line alone. My goal is to raise $3,000 to support life-saving research and vital care programs for children battling cancer. Every single dollar brings us closer to a healthier future where no child has to face this disease.
