When the going gets tough, the tough get going!
Everyone has been touched by cancer at one point in their lives, and for me, it hits incredibly close to home. That’s why I’m getting into shape in preparation for this year’s edition of the Randstad Ride.
I am riding in memory of my cousin, Peg. Diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2016, she fought with immense grace and courage before passing away in 2019 at the young age of 39. Following her diagnosis, Peg became a fierce, outspoken advocate for colorectal cancer research. A proud Chester native, her impactful work even landed her on a billboard in Times Square, where she advocated for better screening policies to save lives.
Every step I take, and every kilometer I bike, will be in honor of Peg and all of our loved ones, friends, and colleagues who have fought or are currently fighting their own battles. I want to carry forward her legacy of advocacy and hope.
Please take a few moments to make a big difference and give generously to my donation page. Every dollar helps fund the critical research that patients and families so desperately need.
I’m getting ready for the Randstad Ride to continue Peg's fight. How about you?
