In 2024 I began my career at Randstad as the Senior Events Coordinator - and I was thrilled. A few weeks later, my mother was diagnosed with cancer and my whole perspective changed. 

Having just left the world of philanthropy where I organized events in support of cancer research, care and education, I was immediately back in it, but this time to be there for my mom while she underwent treatments. 

So this September I am running my first half-marathon (21 ish km!) and raising funds in support of children's cancer care programs with the Canadian Cancer Society. Cause if my mom can overcome cancer, I can do this.
